I enjoy Day Shift (vampire movie)

Jamie Foxxand Dave Franco star in the vampire hunting movie "Day Shift". The movie is about a blue collar working dad who wants to provide for his child's happiness. But, his mundane job at the pool in San Fernando Valley serves as a front for hunting and killing Vampires as part of an international Union of vampiric hunters.

The premise sounds exciting, but can J.J. Perry deliver on it?

The opening scene of the film is a wild action sequence that sees Jamie Foxx shooting a shotgun at an old lady, who turns out to have been a vampire. The movie then launches into an amazing fight scene between them. I feel like the movie really has fun with this kind of rag-doll physics in its action scenes, making those sequences pop in a way that a lot of the Netflix action movies (or action blockbusters these days) don't.

Day Shift is another non-serious, fun film that I felt I could truly enjoy the entire time. I didn't have to think (Day Shift starring Snoop Dogg) to much, it had great action that was original and I felt like I was enjoying watching it. It had good humor and I found myself laughing out loud a fair bit. Of course, it was inspired by some fantastic vampire films such Blade and Lost Boys. Both of these films happen to be some my favorite movies. The acting was good all around, the directing was great and the cinematography was quite good too. Day Shift is a film that's both entertaining and lighthearted. It's very entertaining.

Day Shift was a very mixed movie. There are some great action scenes and fun characters (the brothers and Seth), but the villain is terrible and there are a lot more mediocre characters. However, that makes Day Shift even more enjoyable. There appeared to be scenes missing from the film. Bud's neighbor behaves like she's a friend, even though she only had three minutes of screen time before the final scene. Bud making prank calls at the gas station while he was working at his job is the best part. It was funny, and it was a great movie. Then, however, the movie went on and the movie was far less enjoyable. So, overall, I'd say that Day Shift is a mixed bag. There are parts that are fantastic and others that are horrible. If you're looking to laugh, this movie could be your best choice.

Snoop dogg makes the entire movie worth watching. Snoop Dogg is loved by everyone. He's the definition of cool.
